Sanfield's Summer Internship Program 2024: Cultivating the Next Generation of Construction Talent

We proudly congratulate the talented interns who have successfully completed our summer internship program! We have nurtured nearly 700 aspiring trainees and junior engineers over the past five years, laying the groundwork for the next generation in the construction industry.

Throughout this year's program, our interns delved into a diverse spectrum of both traditional and innovative methodologies, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as BIM, Modular Integrated Construction (#MIC), and our revolutionary unmanned crane tower system (#UMTC). They have also gained invaluable insights into Greater Bay Area construction practices and technology, engaging in hands-on learning experiences at the Guangzhou South Station ICC. Yet, our interns' impact spans beyond technical prowess. Their enthusiastic engagement in volunteer initiatives at the CIC truly reflects their ardent commitment to shaping a sustainable and forward-thinking future for the construction industry. We are inspired by their dedication to making a meaningful professional and personal impact, mirroring our own passion for progress. We were honored to have Mr. Kwok Kai Fai, Executive Director of SHKP, and Mr. Chan Sui Wai, Commissioner for Youth of HYAB, grace the event with their presence to express gratitude to our mentors for their unwavering guidance and support. As we celebrate the outstanding achievements of this year's interns, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to welcome the next cohort of bright young talent to our much-anticipated 2025 summer internship program.
