Sanfield Walks with Employees Towards a Smoke-Free Environment

The construction industry has long grappled with high smoking rates; to ensure the well-being of our workers, Sanfield is taking steps to promote a series of positive changes.

Since the end of last year, we have partnered with the Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health (COSH) to provide professional smoking cessation support for our team. At promotional booths set up at select sites, over 50 workers (including contractors and subcontractors) expressed their willingness to take the first step towards quitting smoking! COSH announced at last month's 15th "Quit Smoking Champion" award ceremony that this year's event attracted over 1,300 participants, with a reported quit success rate of about 33% within three months. Sanfield will continue to strive to raise awareness among industry workers about the harms of smoking, working alongside all "Sanfieldians" to build a more vibrant and healthy work environment together!
