During the PolyU InnoTech Open Day , three key research focus areas were highlighted: Green Applications Development of a smart energy management system aimed at improving building efficiency and enabling real-time energy monitoring. Green Building Materials Implementation of carbon activation technology to accelerate construction, enhance durability, reduce carbon emissions, and promote the use of sustainable materials. Green Construction Processes Plan to introduce a blockchain platform for a paperless workflow in construction, streamlining project design, construction, and operations.
